BLOCKAID (Framed)
Elliot Looney
This block of work was created as our nation was forced to confront its racial identity yet again. As countless black bodies were being broadcast on social media being killed at the hands of police these pieces were created. “As a visual artist I needed a way to help emotionally cope with the trauma I was feeling and to create a new way to engage in real conversation about racial inequality.” -Elliot Looney

These are bright-colored, elaborate, multi-media, illustrations printed on vinyl canvas and stretched on a wooden frame. All pieces are original and digitized, then reproduced just for you. Pick the perfect face to suit your mood and energy.
