Black History Moth
This block of work was created as our nation was forced to confront its racial identity yet again. As countless black bodies, we being broadcast on social media being killed at the hands of police these pieces were created. “As a visual artist I needed a way to help emotionally cope with the trama I was feeling and to create a new way to engage in real conversation about racial inequality.” -Elliot Looney
